PANTHEON

Pantheon The Pantheon is a building of ancient Rome built originally as a temple dedicated to all the gods, or rather the 7 planetary divinities (Sun, Moon, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars). In more modern texts we will find especially Mars and Venus.
The Romans called the pantheon "Ritonna" ( "Round"), which is the name of the square in front.
